JIM HINTS AT TRIALIST

Shire coach, Jim McInally, is hoping to introduce a trialist striker in Saturday's league game with Elgin City at Ochilview.

Jim has been looking to strengthen the forward options since a plan to bring Brian Graham back from Morton failed, but has already seen two potential targets go elsewhere.

"We will hopefully be bringing in a player at training on Thursday night," he said. "And there could be an option to include him as a trialist on Saturday," he said.

"The player in question has scored goals at a higher level and would be a good addition."

But the coach is underlining his faith in his current strikers.

"They have done well for us so far," he said. "And I  still think we have a number of players in the squad whoare capable of scoring goals."
