SHIRE SEEK BARCLAY RETURN
The club has formally approached Falkirk with a view to taking Scotland under-21 international goalkeeper, Jamie Barclay back out on loan.
Coach Jim McInally is hopeful the player's good memories of his time at the club last season will be a big factor in making a decision to return.
"Falkirk have told us there are another couple of clubs, like us, hoping to get Jamie out on loan. But they have said the decision will be up to him," said the Shire coach.
The SPL side have three signed goalkeepers and are running the rule over an experienced trialist stopper this week, which may increase the chances of Jamie being farmed back out to a lower division team for another season.
His form in his three month loan spell last season was outstanding. Jamie played in every game of an eleven game unbeaten run stretching from September to December last year.
