SHIRE TO FACE RETFORD UTD

The Club can confirm that we will now be playing Retford Utd on Saturday 19th July, in place of the previously cancelled fixture against Worksop.

The game will take place at Cannon Park in Retford with a 3pm K.O.

'The Badgers' were founded in 1987 and currently play their football in the Northern Premier League Division One South.

In season 07/08 Retford finished top of their league, 13 points ahead of their nearest rivals, scoring a massive 95 goals in the process. The Badgers will certainly provide a stern test for Shire.

Supporters making the journey down south are reminded that the team will be partaking in a training session at Thomas Rotherham College. The session will take place on Friday 18th July from 11am to 2pm.
